To see and be seen is fundamental. Not only for safety but also for efficiency when working with industrial trucks. The right light, at the right time and in the right place, is a crucial requirement. However, some forklift lighting systems do not serve this purpose. They illuminate the work area only at certain points, often leaving the edges dark or causing glare on the mast or load, which can blind the operator.

With VertiLight and LED Stripes, Hesselberg offers two innovative lighting concepts to solve these problems. Both provide optimal illumination of the work area and enable safe, precise, and efficient work even in cases where the lighting is insufficient.

Unlike conventional front lights, VertiLight illuminates a large area thanks to its semi-circular design with a wide light strip and seven LEDs. The LED lights distribute the light evenly from the floor to the top of the shelf, improving visibility of the shelf, load, and forks.

With counterbalance trucks and reach trucks, the lighting angle can be individually adjusted to tailor the illumination to where the work is to be carried out, whether in the warehouse, hall, or production area. Ideal for use in high shelf systems: With reach trucks, the light area is further increased with the diagonal arrangement of the two front lights.

The special placement of the LEDs and the pleasant color of VertiLight reduce glare and ensure greater safety during indoor driving. Oncoming vehicles and pedestrians are less prone to being blinded by the light, and the driver is not irritated by glare from goods or truck interiors. Since VertiLight is attached to the side of the mast, there is no distracting light reflection on the mast.

The LED Stripes ensures optimal safety conditions in front of and behind the truck: The two-colour light strips illuminate with either white or red light to illuminate the truck's direction of travel. If the direction of travel changes, the light color automatically changes from white to red. Pedestrians and other vehicles can therefore identify the direction in which the truck is traveling, even from a long distance – which further increases safety when driving in warehouses.

The LED Stripes are attached to the mast and the rear of the vehicle and illuminate the nearest work area as evenly and comprehensively as VertiLight. This enables safe, precise and efficient work in any environment.

As with VertiLight, the innovative lighting concept minimizes glare for oncoming vehicles and people, enabling the driver to work efficiently. Both lighting solutions have an impressive lifespan of up to 20,000 hours.
